Counselling for Children and Young Adults

At Focus we offer 50-minute sessions either in-person, or remotely. We have a team of over 15 qualified children-and-young-people counsellors with expertise in a range of issues and therapeutic approaches.

Everyone who seeks support is carefully matched with one of our children-and-young-people counsellors, to ensure we can accompany you through to wellbeing and increased mental health.

The first step is to book an assessment (this can be done with a parent or carer) – a 30-minute appointment with a senior counsellor who will talk to you about how our service works, to find out more about you, to discuss what you need from counselling, and to decide if counselling is the best way forward for you at this time. There will then be a few weeks’ wait before your counselling can begin. To book an assessment, please call or email us.
